Scholarships

The Cherry Moon Foundation Scholarship program supports ambitious high school students seeking to continue their education in college.

This year, CMF is offering scholarships in collaboration with the University of Cebu.

We invite you to consider participating in our Sponsor-A-Student program.

How it Works

Step 1:   Commit to sponsoring a student through college.  You can Sponsor-A-Student through  2 payment plans:

  1. Full Sponsorship : This sponsorship is covered by a single (1) donor.  The cost of the commitment is $125 / month or $1500  a year for 4 years or a one time payment of $6000.  1 student will be paired with 1 sponsor.

  2. Joint Sponsorship: This sponsorship is covered by two (2) donors.  The cost of the commitment per donor is $62.5/month or $750 a year for 4 years or a one time payment of $3000.  1 student will be paired with 2 sponsors.

While we suggest a donation of $1500 per student per year to cover for most annual college tuition costs in the Philippines, a donation in any amount is greatly needed and sincerely appreciated. We need as many generous donors as possible for our scholarship program to succeed.  Remember:  When everyone gives, everyone benefits.

If you are committed to participating in our Sponsor-A-Student program, please fill out our Cherry Moon Foundation Sponsor Registration Form.

Step 2:  You can then initiate donations for the scholarship program through our secure donation page. For donors in the Philippines, you can initiate donations by filling out this form and making a deposit to:

Cherry Moon Outreach PH Inc. BPI Checking Account # 9121008251

Step 3: Sponsors receive information about their sponsored student at the beginning of the school year in August. Scholarships are awarded in July, just before the school year starts. Sponsors are updated on their student's progress at the end of each semester. The first semester runs from August to December, and the second semester from January to May.

“The scholarship was a wake-up call for me to take my studies seriously. I aimed for higher grades and put my effort and hard work into my studies.”

- Fiona Rashed Hernando, scholarship recipient
